Visual Voyages: Images of Latin American Nature from Columbus to Darwin

 

The Huntington Library in Los Angeles presented an exhibit of Latin American depictions of nature and its contributions to art and science from the mid-1400s to 1800s as part of the Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA Initiative. This exhibit included rare books, paintings, manuscripts, prints, drawings, fashion, taxidermied animals and botanical specimens from throughout Latin America.
